Dave, Michael and Chris, friends for the best part of a decade and
still going strong - but not without their fall outs ...especially when
it comes to this band. The thing is, music was always a huge passion
for all three members, each one with their own personal slant on the
trio. So it wasn’t long before they realized that with all this
enthusiasm and drive they could really make a difference. All three
guys have something different to offer to the Acoustics. Michael (aka
Finni) with his calm and patient nature has been the brains and lyricist
behind some of the bands greatest tunes including his personal favourite,
Heaven Here. His keen perception and skill on the guitar adds to an
already polished live performance.
‘He’s such a sound guy and so modest, his lyrics fit so
well with my voice, he really knows how to get the best out of us.’

Dave, always obsessed with music, his talent was noticed at a very young
age at many a house party. His technical accuracy and astute musical
ear has produced some truly original sounds. His speed and producing
something completely new is very impressive.
‘The thing about Dave is that he makes something amazing out
of nothing… I could hum a melody and he’d produce some amazing
accompaniment in just minutes!’ (Mike)
Chris, the front man, has the looks, the charm and definitely the attitude
to bring this band forward. Classically trained with a rich and powerful
voice he definitely has the charisma that any successful band needs.
‘I just love singing, its all I’ve ever wanted to do, I
just hope that other people can appreciate our music just as much as
we do.’ (Chris)
