Cyclone Records is proud to announce that it has reached a comprehensive distribution deal with Hamilton, Ontario's Sonic Unyon Distribution.

Brad Trew says "Sonic Unyon has been a mainstay in the Canadian music scene both as a label to some great talent as well as a growing distribution network that includes both brick and motar outlets as well as worldwide digital distribution and promotion. In an industry that has seen major distributors going out of business, Sonic Unyon has continued to thrive. It is with this positive growth and market strategy that we anticipate a great future with the artists on the Cyclone roster."

Cyclone will begin initially with releases from Holly Woods of Toronto, Steve Negus of Saga, Caveat and Prism in both CD and digital formats. Others will follow shortly. You can check out the disc catalogue here.

Sonic Unyon Records & Distribution has been operating for seventeen years. Initially a record label only, Sonic Unyon developed a separate distribution arm using the self-distributed network the label had set up, and ensure that the Sonic Unyon label as well as hundreds of other similar independent labels could have a solid home base in Canada.
