Hardroad, Canada's Supergroup, Now with Worldwide Distribution
Toronto, ON - May 14, 2011 -- Hardroad has been living up to its name.
Founded in 2008, the band has overcome some significant obstacles such as member changes that have included Gino Scarpelli of Goddo, Micheal Hansen of Glass Tiger, Morgan Evans of Lee Aaron and Rick Lazaroff of Santers leaving just the two founding members, the song writing duo of Earl Johnson of Moxy and Russ Graham of Killer Dwarfs behind the wheel.
Hardroad vocalist and songwriter Russ Graham puts it best: “To me, it’s always about the music and delivering a quality product to our fans. The obstacles we face along the road are just part of the life of a musician unfortunately, but doesn’t stop me in doing what I love to do best.”
But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Their latest album, Miles, is now in stores across Canada through a distribution agreement with Cyclone Records and Sonic Unyon Distribution and available online through major online retailers. They have also seen a spike in sales in Japan through a distributor there. Their first single, Tempted, is in regular or power rotation in stations across Canada.

From the ashes of some of Canada's most loved and influential rocks acts of the 80s comes Hard Road. Capitalizing on the signature styles and diverse background of each of its members, Hard Road combines the eclectic and ripping guitar riffs of Earl Johnson of Moxy, the unmistakable vocal prowess and stage antics of Russ Graham of Killer Dwarfs, a driving backbone and powerhouse drumming. Each member has spent decades devoted to their love of music and have each followed their own hard roads to reach this point in their careers. Having been rehearsing and writing material since its inception in April 2008, Hard Road is currently recording new, unreleased material as well as performing reworks of hits from their past.
