Canadian Rock Band Moxy Inks Management Deal with Brad Trew of Cyclone Records

Toronto, ON - May 29, 2008 -- Cyclone Records is proud to announce that Brad Trew is now managing MOXY, one of Canada's hardest rocking and longest running powerhouses. Dubbed in the press as Canada's Led Zeppelin, MOXY is recognized internationally for delivering a blistering, explosive live experience for over thirty years.

Says Brad Trew, "its an honour to be working with musicians of this calibre and reputation and who I have been a fan of since I was a teenager. My mandate is to help reintroduce MOXY to the live circuit through high profile shows and events and to manage and co-ordinate many other aspects surrounding the band."

MOXY's star truly shines on stage and is considered by many to be the best live classic rock in Canada. You can see the band in action here.

To launch this partnership, Moxy will be playing at Rock N Roll Heaven in Toronto on 26 September 2008, up close and personal yet in a concert setting that only Rock N Roll Heaven can provide.

About Moxy:
There is perhaps no bigger legend in the history of Canadian hard rock than Toronto's MOXY. MOXY has the distinction of being the only Canadian band to have AC/DC open for them on tour. One can still hear the roar of vocalist Buzz Shearman, twenty years after a motorcycle accident tragically ended his life just north of Canada's biggest city. By fate or by chance, Texas has become the band's biggest market. To this day, Texas radio still samples from the band's four classic albums, three with Buzz Shearman, and one with a young Mike Reno, who would go on to major fame with LOVERBOY. The current line up consists of original guitarist and principle songwriter Earl Johnson, Kim Hunt on drums and Jim Samson on bass guitar, known in the Toronto area as the best rhythm section since appearing in ZON thirty years ago. And now, in the latest chapter of Moxy history, in steps one of Canada's best vocalists, Alex Machin from A FOOT IN COLDWATER. With this incredible combination of talent, we now have what could be called a Canadian 70's Super Band.
