Cyclone Artists Slated for the First "Southern Alberta Hardcore
and Metal Festival"
Toronto, ON - August 10, 2006 -- September 3rd, 2006 marks
the first-ever Southern Alberta Hardcore & Metal Festival, set
to take place at the Heritage Hall, Exhibition Park in Lethbridge,
Alberta, Canada. The show, organized by James Marshalay of CKXU 88.3FM,
features 15 of the best hardcore and metal acts in Western Canada
and were chosen after reviewing dozens of applicants.
On the bill are Cyclone Records artists Inner Surge of Calgary, Alberta
(available on the 2005 "Matrika"
and 2006 "Signals
Screaming"). Also appearing from the Cyclone catalogue are
Caveat (available on the 2006 "The
Greatest Underground Show on Earth" metal compilation) and
Red Tide (from the limited edition 2006 "Canadian
Metal in Japan" compilation).
