Tripchord Inks Deal with Cyclone Records Management
Toronto, ON - October 23, 2006 -- Cyclone Records has inked a
management deal with Toronto metal/hard rockers Tripchord. Part of this
agreement is the release of their next CD, "Surviving the System."
Trew explains it this way, " It was a natural progression of the relationship
we have been building over the past year. By keeping all functions under
one roof, duplication of efforts is eliminated, synergies between various
initiatives is maximized, costs are reduced and communication between
all concerned is at its best. Essentially, the left hand always knows
what the right hand is doing. Decision-making is closer to home and
can be made quicker to take advantage of time-sensitive opportunities.
We are proud to have Tripchord in our roster and they are in good company."
Their "Surviving the System" CD, set to release on November
18th, is their second release but is truly a breakout album from a band
that is ready to hit the international stage. This release takes them
to a whole new level of power, melody and rhythmic mayhem. Featuring
11 tracks of diverse power and subtlety, this is one disc you won't
want to take out of your CD player.
"Cyclone Records has built alliances in many aspects of the industry
and we are asking our friends to help us out with this release," explains
Brad Trew. A synchronized release event is scheduled for November 4th
involving terrestrial radio, streaming internet radio and podcasters
from around the world. "We are very excited about this release
and have aggressive goals for the CD and the band. With the supporters
who have thus far stepped up to the plate, we are very confident in
reaching those goals."

a major force in Toronto's independent music scene ever since. With
a unique blend of musicians, Tripchord has been able to produce an original
