The Greatest Underground Show on Earth was voted one of the Top 3 best local releases of 2006 by Calgary's CJSW 90.9 FM Megawatt Mayhem.

The Greatest Underground Show on Earth was rated a 9/10 by MetalNetRadio.com and is included in their recommended titles.

Absolute Underground says "The Greatest Underground Show on Earth" is "fourteen tracks from fourteen distinct Calgary metal bands slapped together on this album like an incredibly diverse sandwich. A tasty and deliciously assorted death, thrash, power and speed metal sandwich, that is. Standout tracks for me are "Shredfest" by Inspected By 40 and "Hate Therapy" by Wormbox. Calgary metal is definitely well represented on this standout compilation.
