Music
Music can be provided in the following methods:
uploaded to this site using the form located here: Application
Form
via email to info@cyclonerecords.ca
(up to 3MB) to cyclonerecords.ca@hotmail.com
(up to 10MB).
via yousendit.com
(up to 1GB).
or on a CD-R to the address located in the contact
page.
Music should be studio quality and saved at the highest possible resolution.
Any music submitted will not be returned back to the owner.
Artwork
If you are providing a copy of your own photo-ready layout, please
use the following guidelines (templates can be provided upon request):
files can be provided in Quark Xpress©, Adobe Photoshop©,
Adobe Illustrator© or Adobe Indesign©
artwork should be in CMYK for full color or greyscale for
B&W
outer edges require 1/8" bleed (extra image info for
cropping purposes)
all linked pictures need to be 300dpi CMYK or Greyscale
for best print quality avoid using compressed images (.jpg
etc) or adding LZW compression to .tiffs
avoid typesetting small text (<4pt type) in PhotoShop,
for best quality set type in Illustrator or Quark/Indesign
include all fonts and linked files used in Quark/Indesign
or Illustrator documents
if a Barcode is to be added by us, a white space must be indicated
on tray file. the box should be approx. .75" x 1.5"
Please make sure to indicate on
your order if you need a custom number generated
please include printed proofs or samples of your artwork (a
printout from your home printer is fine)
artwork can be submitted on CDR, Zip disk or we can download
from your FTP site
If you are providing graphic files for layout by Cyclone Records,
please ensure the following:
files should be a minimum of 300dpi
files can be provided in JPG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, CorelDraw 8©
or Adobe Illustrator 8© formats
if Pantone colours are being used, please provide reference numbers
Any artwork submitted will not be returned back to the owner.
